IDEAS FOR LIFE

Emphasis on training is a company key policy. We are committed to training programmes for both our employees and students on internships. In-house training programmes are also undertaken and encouraged at all levels.
The team is actively involved in the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes offered by authorized agents recognized by Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
Over the years, several of our employees have advanced from technician to engineers level through sandwich day release courses at local Kenyan colleges through our sponsorship.
We encourage attendance of seminars, short-term engineering courses and training workshops offered by key players in the various sectors of the economy.

OUR RESOURCES

GCE conducts her businesses from owned-occupied premises located in Karen, Nairobi. The premises is shared with the sister company, Geomax Renewable Energy company(GREC). Designs, production of drawings and Bills of Quantities are undertaken on the latest CAD software packages including; REVIT, AutoCAD MEP, BIM collaboration etc. Projects designed on REVIT include:
 East African Kidney Institute Kenyatta National Hospital (EAKIP)
 Palm Exotjca, Watamu
 The Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu
 MP Shah Hospital • We are also equipped with the latest software for document presentations including Office 365, Pastel etc.

Team

GEORGE M. NJOROGEMD, CO-FOUNDER & CHIEF ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Chartered Electrical Engineer and Member of the Engineering Council of the United Kingdom (Eng.), Registered Engineer (R. Eng.) Kenya, Registered Engineer (R.Eng.) Tanzania and Member of The Institution of Engineering and Technology of the United Kingdom.

He oversees all the Engineering and Administrative aspects in the firm.

WECHE RAPHAEL OKUBOMECHANICAL ENGINEERING CONSULTANT

Raphael offers Engineering Consultancy services to the Mechanical Department at Geomax Consulting Engineers Ltd. A renowned Mechanical Engineer trained Locally in Kenya and in the United Kingdom. He is registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya and is a Chartered Engineer with the
British Engineering Council.

He has extensive experience as a Consultant in Engineering Building Services having served in the Private Sector and the Public Sector as the Chief Engineer Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Building Services Ministry of Public Works Kenya.

JOHN N. MUTHARIAELECTRICAL & ICT ENGINEERING SERVICES

John has been with the firm for 12 years now.
He has been involved in various projects, including: De La Rue Vault Extensions, Proposed Century Bottling plant in Namave, Uganda, United Nations Office in Nairobi, Barclays Bank of Kenya, among others.

JAMES WAWERUMECHANICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

James has been with the firm for 3 years now.
He has been involved in various projects, including: MP Shah Hospital, Safaricom SCC Cafeteria Renovations, Safaricom Control Rooms Phase II, Mary Help Thika, World Vision International Fit out, Lions Eye Projects, among others.

SAMMY KAMAUMECHANICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

Sammy has been with the firm for 3 years now.
He has been involved in various projects, including; Taraji Heights. De La Rue Vault Extensions, Safaricom Rollout Shops, Kenya High School Project, Equity Banks, among others.

ELIJAH MAINGIELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

Elijah has been with the firm for 3 years now.
Elijah has been a member of Energy Petroleum Regulation Authority (EPRA), Renewable power sources having undertaken audit in various projects include Standard charted Bank, Barclays Bank of Kenya etc.
He has also been involved in various projects, including; Adlife Plaza, Afircare, Nairobi Hospital Projects, Stanchart Bank, among others.

WILLIAM MBURUELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

William has been with the firm for 8 years now.
He has been involved in various projects, including: MP-Shah Hospital, Lions Eye Projects, Aga Khan Hospital, Gertrude’s Garden Children’s Hospital, Taraji heights, among others.
